The spirit of travel

Algérie is a country with many facets, which offers curious and attentive travelers varied landscapes and unsuspected cultural riches.

Alger the white is the nickname given to the capital of Algérie, because of the color of its facades that contrast with the blue of the Mediterranean Sea.
Alger is a city steeped in history, which has experienced several cultural influences, including Berber, Arab, Ottoman, French and Spanish.
Alger is also a modern city, which houses political, economic, cultural and university institutions.

Alger the white offers its visitors a remarkable architectural and natural heritage, including the Casbah, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Basilica of Notre-Dame d'Afrique, the Hamma botanical garden or the Bardo National Museum.

We invite you to discover Alger, this fascinating city that captivates with its charm and diversity.

Then, heading south, Tamanrasset and the Hoggar mountains, in the heart of the Algerian Sahara.

The Hoggar is a paradise for lovers of the desert, who dream of discovering breathtaking landscapes, an ancient culture and unparalleled hospitality. The Hoggar is a mountain range located in the south of Algérie, and rises to more than 2,900 meters in altitude. Starting from Tamanrasset, it offers a diversity of reliefs, colors and climates, which make each journey a unique experience. The Hoggar is also the land of the Tuaregs, a nomadic people who have managed to preserve their way of life, their language, their traditions and their art. We welcome you with warmth and generosity in their camps.

A beautiful adventure to experience.

Algiers Casbah and Our Lady of Africa

We offer you a number of visits to make during your stay in the capital. These visits are given for informational purposes only and will be organized according to your choices and preferences. A guide will be at your disposal as well as a vehicle to facilitate your travel.

Visit of the Casbah of Algiers

Historic district inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage since 1992. Its history dates back to Antiquity, where it was first a Punic port, then Berber and finally Roman. Founded in the 10th century by the Berbers under the Ziride dynasty, it was subsequently enriched by the contributions of other Berber dynasties that successively dominated central Maghreb. It played a central role during the Algerian War, serving as a bastion for the mujahideen.

Visit of Notre Dame d'Afrique

The Notre Dame d'Afrique Basilica is one of the minor basilicas of the Catholic Church. It is located in the commune of Bologhine, west of Algiers, on a promontory overlooking the sea at 124 m altitude. It was built by architect Jean-Eugène Fromageau in the Romano-Byzantine style, and consecrated on July 2, 1872. The exterior is characterized by a high dome, fixed on a cylindrical drum. This basilica has the peculiarity of having the apse to the southwest, rather than to the east as usual. It is accessible by a cable car bearing its name from Bologhine (former Saint-Eugène), where the Saint-Eugène cemetery is located. It is considered "the twin sister of the Marseille Basilica Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde".

At the end of the day, we head to Algiers airport to take the domestic flight to Tamanrasset. The flight between Algiers and Tamanrasset lasts approximately two and a half hours. Departure 23:59 for arrival in Tamanrasset at 02:25 (times are indicative).
